Located at our purpose-built centre in Arena Avenue, Roxburgh Park our GP’s consult in a range of languages to suit our local community.

Welcome to Nisa Medical!

My name is Aneesa, I’m a mother, daughter, wife, soon-to-be grandmother (!) and dedicated GP – I know how important it is to have someone that has the right balance of experience and empathy looking after your family and its what I strive to provide all my patients.

I have over 20 years experience as a GP in the UK and Australia. My special interests are female and sexual health and I provide patients with all forms of long acting reversible contraception including the Implanon and IUD, having obtained my Diploma of Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2003.

My other interests are in paediatrics and mental health. I recently completed a Certificate of Clinical Hypnosis and further Mental Health Skills Training to offer structured psychological strategies for patients requiring mental health treatment.

I love being a GP and providing continuous and dynamic care to all my patients. I strive to genuinely support my patients through all of life’s stages with compassion, care and humanity.

Business Manager

I have an extensive background in construction management, engineering and have also managed successful Italian restaurants and cafés in the United Kingdom – you could say that I have worn many hats over the course of my career! I oversee the day-to-day operations, finance and administration at Nisa Medical and am always happy and willing to help out with a smile.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, sports and eating Italian food.

Registered Nurse

I am a Registered Nurse and Nurse Immuniser. I have been nursing for 14 years. I started my nursing career at Royal Children’s Hospital, in the Emergency and Intensive Care departments. I made the change to Practice nursing in 2016.

I really enjoy working in general practice, every day is different. I l love that I get to see patients through different stages of their life, and be a part of their health journey.
I feel blessed to be a part of the Nisa Medical team.

I am a wife and mum to 3 children, in my spare time I enjoy gardening, camping and spending time with my family.

Hello…. I am Filiz, the medical receptionist at Nisa Medical. I have been working at this clinic since early 2021 and love the environment and the wonderful team. I am a wife and mother to two adult sons. Originally from London, England, my family and I moved to Melbourne 14 years ago. I am a qualified Medical Herbalist and a Florist, which I love to continue in my spare time.

My core belief is to help and support others with empathy and compassion, and to always provide exceptional and professional service. Here at Nisa Medical, I am the first point of contact, when you telephone or email us. I always try to employ my friendly and helpful persona, enabling trust and going that extra mile to support and help others.


I am confident and highly organised in an administrative and reception environment, especially when it becomes a busy clinic, rapidly assimilating and learning updated processes applicable to my role. With this I am confident we can always provide a professional service at Nisa Medical.

Welcome to Nisa Medical!

My name is Dr Amna Riaz Khan. I’m a passionate and empathetic GP, and take all the pride in providing holistic care to my patients at all stages of their life.

I embarked on my medical career in Australia in 2009 after gaining my medical degree from Pakistan I worked in Victorian hospital and completed my General Practice training in Regional Victoria.

To my credentials, I hold Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Diploma in Child Health from Westmead Hospital Sydney and Diploma in Dermatology from Australian Institute of Dermatology Queensland.

I enjoy all aspects of family medicine, with special interests in paediatrics, women’s health, dermatology chronic disease, health promotion and disease prevention.
